Biography

Michele McKeone, M. Ed is an award winning thought leader and innovator in the autism education community. As the founder of Autism Expressed & Digitability, she designed the first and only online learning system teaching digital literacy to students with autism and other learning disabilities. McKeone¹s work focuses on changing the paradigm and approach to educating students with disabilities with the ultimate goal of increasing the post-secondary and employment opportunities for this population.

Autism Expressed was named winner of the Educational Services of America Prize, Startup of the Year, and appeared on the cover of Philadelphia Magazine for their innovation in special education.
Michele shared her vision for mobilizing a large and growing population of individuals with disabilities on MSNBC, TechCrunch, WHYY and more. This year, she was awarded the Philadelphia Business Journal's Women of Distinction, Rising Star Award.
